PROFESSIONAL HOCKEY COACH
BIO
Since 1997, Scott has worked with thousands of hockey players and coaches from all over the world. His clientele includes a multitude of premiere hockey players that play in the world's top leagues including many NHL, European and National Team players. He has been contracted by professional agents to develop and implement summer development programs for their clients. His international experience includes working with Ice Hockey Australia’s National Team Development Programs. Scott has presented at countless coaching clinics and seminars throughout Canada and internationally, most recently as the keynote speaker for Hockey Canada's High Performance Coaching Certification Program. He has designed and developed academy and program development models for the University of Saskatchewan and multisport facilities throughout Western Canada.
Since 1999, in addition to being a skill development coach, Scott has also coached junior, college and professional hockey. He has coached at the University of Saskatchewan with both Women’s and Men’s hockey teams respectively, the Swift Current Broncos of the Western Hockey League, and is currently the Associate Coach with the Tulsa Oilers, the Anaheim Ducks ECHL affiliate.
Away from the rink, Scott attended Vancouver Film School’s Digital Design Program. After toying with graphic design/marketing/branding in past administration roles, he learned the tools to be a professional designer on multiple platforms. He has worked as a freelance designer away from the rink, creating promotional videos, branding and marketing strategies, graphic design and UX/UI design. Scott is also an avid volunteer with organizations focusing on mental health and creating opportunities for underprivileged children.
